Taylor Swift will be touring again in 2023. Now the singer has expanded her “The Eras Tour” by 17 concerts.

Taylor Swift (32) has expanded her upcoming “The Eras Tour”. As the US singer on Friday (November 11) in her Instagram story has announced, 17 concerts will be added. That makes a total of 52 appearances that she has planned in the USA in 2023.

One city, five concerts

All newly announced concerts will take place in US cities that were already part of the tour. Now she’s on stage at least two or three times in every city. A total of five concerts are planned for the end of their tour in Los Angeles.

Due to the expansion, the start has been brought forward by one day. The tour begins on March 17th in Glendale, Arizona. Other stops include Las Vegas, Arlington, Tampa, Houston, Atlanta, Nashville, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati and Seattle. The expansion of the tour is due to the great demand, it is said according to “Variety”. No concerts outside of the US have been announced yet. Advance sales begin on November 15th.

A few days earlier, Swift had already added eight concerts to her US tour. She explained on Twitter: “Looks like I’ll get to see more of your beautiful faces than I previously expected… we’re adding eight shows to the tour.”

Are there any concerts in Europe to follow?

In early November, Swift had her new tour on Instagram announced. “I’m excited to announce my next tour: ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’, a journey through the musical stages of my career (past and present!),” she wrote. At that time it was said that international dates would be “announced as soon as possible”. She was last seen live on her “Reputation Stadium” tour in 2018, with a total of 53 concert appearances.

Taylor Swift has made an absolute dream start with her new album “Midnights”. So far, no artist had managed to occupy the entire top ten of the “Billboard Hot 100” charts in one week at the same time.
