Teacher killed in the middle of class in Saint-Jean-de-Luz: this rumor defeated by the prosecutor

The day after the death of a Spanish teacher, stabbed in class in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), the profile of the main suspect is becoming clearer. The prosecutor denied a rumor about the teenager

Asked if the teenager would have announces its intention to kill the teacher a few days before the tragedy, the Bayonne prosecutor wanted to deny this information. “I know it’s a rumor that went around, but you know, after such acts, there are a lot of rumors going around. Today, we have not objectified this element.to,” he said.

Finally, Jérôme Bourrier wanted to specify that the main suspect was “extremely shocked” by his act. Schooled in second class, the teenager was described as “intelligent, hardworking, solitary” but with some animosity towards his Spanish teacher”where his results were not good“. He was followed by a psychiatrist after a drug suicide attempt in October 2022. The investigation is now expected to continue.
