From April 25 to 29, 2022, the Team Vitality esports team will welcome young people over the age of 12 during several sessions of its Vitality Spring School, a week-long experience in the shoes of a competitor on the European esports scene. Following the success of the previous edition (120 registered in 2021), the structure present in particular on the League of Legends, CS:GO or Rocket League stage has renewed his school at V.Hive, the 1000 m² complex in the center of Paris
In addition to physics internships, online sessions via Discord will allow young people from all over the French-speaking world to be supervised by professionals in their practice of video games for 5 days, with La Ruche coaches and staff. Mini-tournaments between the trainees are also planned and meetings with athletes and club staff. Advice on prevention will also be given. Fabien Devidethe co-founder, explains:
I am very happy that this new edition of Vitality Spring School is starting. It is a project at the very heart of the problems of education and supervision of young video game players.
Pedagogical phases are thus integrated into each day of the Spring School with questions of ethics, sport, health or influence of the media, in order to broaden the spectrum of the profession beyond video games. For example, 30 minutes a day are dedicated to lifestyle, sleep, food or hydration, essential for good sports practice.
Sessions will also be organized the first two weeks of July and the last two of August 2022, then during the All Saints holidays and the Christmas holidays. Registrations are now open by clicking on this link
