The band Tears for Fears released their last studio album in 2004. A new record should be released in early 2022.

Tears for Fears have announced that they will release their seventh studio album in the coming year. It will be titled “The Tipping Point” and will be released on February 25, 2022, as the band reveals on Instagram, among others. Tears for Fears also released the cover of the record and the album’s title track of the same name. On YouTube is also already the music video for the song appeared.

A tour is also planned

The album is supposed to according to a report by the music magazine “Rolling Stone” comprise ten songs. In a deluxe edition, three more songs are added. Tears for Fears are also planning an extensive tour with the new record. It is currently not known when the concerts will take place and whether the band will also come to Germany.

The British band’s last studio album, Everybody Loves a Happy Ending, was released in 2004 in the US and 2005 in Europe. In 2017 “Rule the World: The Greatest Hits” was released. Roland Orzabal (60) and Curt Smith (60), the founders of Tears for Fears, enjoyed great success with the band, especially in the 1980s. Her hits include songs like “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “Shout”.
