(CercleFinance.com) – Technip Energies announces that it has been awarded a detailed front-end engineering (FEED) contract with Arcadia eFuels to design the first commercial-scale plant for the production of sustainable aviation fuels, located in Vordingborg , in Denmark.
The two companies aim to support the commissioning of the plant scheduled for 2026. Arcadia eFuels will then use renewable electricity, water and biogenic carbon dioxide to produce eFuels.
This contract covers the engineering of this plant which will produce approximately 80,000 MTPA (tons per year) of sustainable aviation fuel (eKerosene) and eNaphtha. It also concerns the engineering of a 250 MW electrolysis plant to produce green hydrogen.
