Technip Energies: timid rebound

(Boursier.com) — Technip Energies, which finally lost 3.5% after its annual publication yesterday, rose timidly by 0.3% to 20.2 euros at midday. Oddo BHF speaks of solid results but a somewhat soft return to shareholders. The broker nevertheless reiterates its ‘outperform’ recommendation as well as its target of 27 euros despite 3 good years of stock market outperformance. It highlights Technip Energies given its positioning in the LNG business (future acceleration in terms of contract awards), its positioning in transition energies (biofuel, CCS, etc.), a very solid financial situation which can enable it to carry out external growth operations in energy transition businesses and a return to shareholders, rare in the sector at this stage of the cycle.
