This summer, fans of Ninja Turtles have discovered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revengea beat em all retro by Dotemu and Tribute Games, which appealed to players on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. But the studios are already back, with a somewhat dispensable PlayStation 5 version.

Tribute Games indeed indicates that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will run natively on PlayStation 5 this time, while the PS4 version is backwards compatible and will not have a free update. I have to say that this PS5 version does not add any content and does not include any technical improvements. But there will be physical editions! Limited Run Games offers standard editions, Classic Edition, Radical Edition and Fan Bundle on its North American site, while in Europe it is Merge Games who will edit a standard edition and a Signature Edition. The standard version will include the game, a booklet and a PVC keychain, while the edition Signature distributed by Just for Games will be more provided.
- The TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge game in Standard physical edition.
- A random Ninja Turtle headband mask among the 4 models: Michelangelo, OR Donatello, OR Raphael, OR Leonardo.
- The soundtrack in CD format, stored in a “pizza box” case, with 28 tracks taken from the game.
- A set of 4 30mm metal pins representing the 4 shelled heroes.
- A metallic keychain representing Shredder.
- An art card numbered and signed by the developers.
- An 80mm metal coaster in the shape of a manhole cover
- All in a special collector’s box featuring the four heroes, protected by a cardboard sleeve featuring Shredder in menacing red tones.
