Last year, Dotemu and Tribute Games unveiled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a “neo-retro” beat’em up sounding like a love letter to the Ninja Turtles license and games of yesteryear. Playable alone or with up to four players in cooperation, this adventure will obviously oppose our four heroes to the vile Shredder, their main antagonist. However, a fifth character had been made official during gamescom 2021, April O’Neil, sometimes journalist, programmer and therefore fighter. In the end, it won’t be the last, since Master Splinter will also be able to be embodied !

Master Splinter’s serene nature makes him more calm and thoughtful than his shelled students, but his deep knowledge of the ninja arts makes him a formidable fighter. The attacks of his trusty cane are particularly powerful and his special moves have a great reach : he can handle a whole group of enemies with as much confidence and efficiency as the four turtles when they gobble up a pizza!
In addition, the postponement from the end of 2021 to this year 2022 will have been beneficial, since in addition to Switch and PC versions, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will also be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
