In summer 2022, publisher Dotemu released the co-op indie hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
A digital PS5 version will also be released on November 15th, as announced by Dotemu on Twitter. The company also writes there that the PlayStation 5 version is identical to the PS4 version and will not offer anything new in terms of content.

It is precisely this information that confuses the fans, because usually a later next-gen version of a game offers new content or at least technical improvements such as a better frame rate or faster loading times. Sony’s PS5 is already backward compatible with the PS4 version. There are no advantages for players.
However, this announcement coincides with the upcoming release of a physical PS5 version by Limited Run Games. Fans can pre-order between November 4th and 27th, 2022. The game includes Turtles pixel stickers, a reversible cover and an art book.
We think the title is one of the best couch co-op games to come out in 2022. If you liked Streets of Rage 4, you’ll probably like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too.
