Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection Compilation Arrives August 30

Announced earlier in the year, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a compilation of 13 old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games that will be released on our current consoles. Rather discreet since its first presentation, the title has just confirmed its release date while revealing some additional images. Take out your diary (and put your pizzas in the oven), the release is scheduled for this summer.

Late summer will be retro

To develop this compilation, Konami approached the Digital Eclipse studio, known for having produced the recent Disney Classic Games collection with Aladdin and The Lion King. Of course, don’t expect a real overhaul, it’s a simple regrouping of several Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games like back in the day, with a few extra conveniences: auto-save, rewind, change controls, and the addition of online play for certain titles; non-negligible comfort options.

In total, these are 13 games that will stand out through Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. The release is now set for August 30, 2022, when the compilation will be available on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch. Good news, a physical version is also planned and is already available for pre-order.
