Tekken 8: a first sales figure, the fight pays off

Bandai Namco launched Tekken 8 late last month, his new fighting game. A title available on computers and latest generation home consoles which was eagerly awaited by fans of versus fightingwe now have a first sales figure, quite impressive.

As reported by the journalist Takashi Mochizuki, Bandai Namco revealed during its financial statement that Tekken 8 has sold over two million copies worldwide, three weeks after its launch. A strong start for the fighting game, which does much better than its predecessor: Tekken 7 took two months to wait for two million sales. And since it’s a fight, let’s note that Street Fighter 6 took five months to reach this figure.
