But now Katsuhiro Harada, game director and creator of the series, is confronted with accusations of racism. A user on X (formerly Twitter) speculated that Eddy Gordo’s absence was due to racism on the part of the development team.

Sharp criticism of fan

Eddy Gordo has already been a character with Brazilian origins in previous games in the series. Harada quickly responded to the tweet and called the author of the post “delusional.”

He emphasized that such unfounded claims will not be tolerated and pointed to the diversity in Tekken. After all, the game also has characters like Leroy and Raven.
