The messaging app Telegram is getting an update. This includes a large number of new functions. You can now use improved reactions and send video stickers.
As Telegram reports in its own blog, you can create the video stickers yourself with any video editing program. These stickers require less than 30 kilobytes of mobile data volume.
You can also publish your own sticker packs or add new packs from others using the Stickers bot. Developers can also use a sticker importer interface to program apps that can create and import stickers.
Improved reactions
Reactions are now displayed with scaled-down animations. To send a larger reaction, press and hold the reaction button. Also included in the update are five new reactions. You can also send your reactions as interactive emojis.
If you’re going through a lot of unread messages, channels, or chats, you can now press and hold the back button to go back to a specific chat.
Bug fixes included in the update
The update also fixed some bugs. Among other things, the call quality has been improved, there is support for translations on the quick view pages and there is now the possibility to send silent messages from the share menu.
