Teleperformance posts a slight increase in its pro forma turnover in Q1

April 30 (Reuters) – Call center group Teleperformance reported pro forma revenue up just 0.9 percent in the first quarter on Tuesday, citing an unfavorable basis of comparison and a context macroeconomic uncertain.

“The (first) half of the year is expected to represent the low point of fiscal 2024,” the company said in a statement.

Teleperformance posted a turnover of 2.54 billion euros in the period from January to March, compared to 2.01 billion euros recorded last year.

He attributes the low pro-forma growth (at constant exchange rates including Majorel’s activity) to an unfavorable exchange rate effect linked to the depreciation against the euro of the Argentine peso, the Turkish lira, the US dollar and the Egyptian book.

The group also confirmed its financial objectives for the year, forecasting an improvement in performance in the second half.
