Telltale gives very reassuring news


Telltale Games finally speaks on The Wolf Among Us 2. The studio confirms that the game has not been canceled.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is certainly Telltale Games’ most anticipated title. It must be said that after its closure due to financial difficulties, then its reopening, the studio is banking on this sequel to one of its most popular games.

The first The Wolf Among Us actually made a strong impression in 2013. Free adaptation of Fablesa comic book series by Bill Willingham, the game won over the public with the maturity of its universe, its aesthetics and its solid narrative.

Presented in the form of a season in five episodes, this first part concluded with an ending which could only await a sequel. More than ten years later, fans are still waiting. But maybe not for long…

Telltale reassures on The Wolf Among Us 2

Since its announcement during the Game Awards 2019, The Wolf Among Us 2 is discreet. First announced for 2023, the studio finally postponed the release of the game. Indeed, Telltale wants to take its time to avoid repeating the crunch which took place before the studio closed.

But the wait is long and news about the game is rare. Fans are therefore worried that the game will actually see the light of day. However, the recent case Deck Nine just gave us some unexpected news about the project.

In fact, the studio known for Life Is Strange: True Colors had collaborated on the script for The Wolf Among Us 2. However, for an investigation conducted on Deck Nine by IGN, Telltale was questioned about the continuation of the adventures of Bigby Wolf.

He also claims to have enjoyed working with Deck Nine and is looking for ways to continue their collaboration. This is little news, but which should at least reassure fans.
