Temporis Retro 2: Best Dofus class, choose its assets and liabilities in tier list

Who says pre-registration of Temporis servers, necessarily says new classes to evaluate on Dofus Retro. The editorial staff makes the rounds of these after the publication of the devblog of details around them.

Dofus Retro Tier list – The best class for Temporis 2 according to the passives

Rows are not ordered

Our criteria for this tier list

For this edition of Temporis, “Parchomancia – The Tower of Challenges”, the temporary servers will offer Scrollmancer gameplay with a Retro twist. You will be able to drop your equipment, while having access to the classic class spells. The only differences will be in the possible items, stuffs and especially the exclusive passives. Several criteria are taken into account for this “pre” Tier List:

  • Ability to chain fights easily (equipment farm)
  • Ability to pass PvM fights
  • Getting started
  • The power of the passive
  • Viability at BL, ML and THL
  • Compatibility in teams (of 4)
  • Variability according to AP costs and spell details

Important note, the classes have nothing to do with what the usual old MMO can offer. Each has 4 basic “active” spells with a passive. Their kit is complete with 10 Parchomancer spells, to be collected by different means. Do not take your class on a prejudice! Finally, remember that all the AP cost and range details are not yet known. Everything can still change.

TIER S / Essential classes for Temporis 2 on Dofus Retro

Here you will find the “good prospects”. No matter the game mode, these are classes that are good at everything in PvM, or extremely powerful from A to Z.

yup

With its liabilities on weapons, the Iop is already off to a very good start. However, it also accumulates many active spells that are as useful as they are versatile. If you’re not afraid of a little CaC spam, this is the class for you.

Eniripsa

In addition to a very complete basic kit and with very good support tools, the Eniripsa benefits from choices. Its alignment will allow you to have a little flexibility. To top it off, you will also have access to a form of Ataraxia. What become the nightmare of monsters.

Osamodas

Like what, it was enough to drop the invocations for the Osamodas to become a very good class. With very powerful support spells, you manage to cover a good part of the situation. The class also has access to debuffs and even a bonus on allies every turn. Certainly random, but according to Logan without any negative effects!

Tier A / Solid classes for good rush Temporis 2 on Dofus Retro

It is considered here that the characters can manage a minimum. It’s not the top meta and yet, it makes coffee and croissants.

Sacrier

This is the only class to benefit from real summons. If that didn’t sell dreams during Ankama Live, the devblog revealed real possibilities. Not necessarily very easy to handle, the Sacrier could be a good surprise from this Temporis.

Sram

In addition to stealing kamas, the Sram has a very interesting basic trap for placement and indirect damage. Two highly useful data in Retro PvM, especially in smaller groups and without the usual Gamebreakers spells.

Ecaflip

Like the Sacrier, the Ecaflip is discovered a lot with the devblog. The detail of the effects of the cards makes it possible to highlight a great ability to boost in combat. Its basic kit is also quite significant, enough to make it a random but balanced class.

Tier B / Not as much as the others

All passives are equal… or almost. They are not necessarily ideal for this edition and the rush. You can choose them, but more for the challenge than for Rush!

Feca

If its protection capabilities are very good, the Feca is mainly oriented for melee gameplay. A mode that is not necessarily the best if you know the mechanics of Dofus Retro. However, it remains viable and its glyph could be interesting to exploit on the artificial intelligence side.

xelor

By its mobility, the Xelor could prove interesting. Unfortunately, without its natural AP Withdrawal ability and without knowing Parchomancy spells or characteristic levels, it’s hard to say if it will really be so effective.

pandawa

Not carrying a weapon is a fairly significant cost on characteristics. At low levels, it’s even giving up on the combo of the Toady Set or the Gobball Set. It will be necessary to carefully monitor the compensations that Ankama has provided for in terms of spell values.

Tier C / Yeah, okay

The next class has one or more large central flaws. We don’t particularly recommend them unless you REALLY like its gameplay.

Sadida

With contact gameplay, the Sadida could very quickly put a stick in the wheels. Worse, some of his spells negatively affect allies. So far, the class is off to a bad start.

Enutrof

If unlike the Sadida, the Enutrof does not impact its allies, it has some delays on its main spells. None really stands out against the others and he will just hit the fray, a point (g) that’s all.

Cra

Just for the sake of putting the class in last place, devoid of Explosive or Lashing Arrow. In truth, the class isn’t bad and could go up a few thirds just with its ability to increase the range of normally fixed spells. The “Chassé” mechanic, taken from Sram from Tempo Retro 1, is also very powerful with good values. It’s just a matter of checking if you’re paying attention.
