The bad weather has been tormenting the people of Carinthia for days. The sun finally came out for the start of the popular Alps-Adriatic Harbor Festival – thousands of visitors enjoyed the food, the music and the diverse programme.

Just in time for the start of the popular Alps-Adriatic harbor festival in the eastern bay of Wörthersee, the longingly missed sun appeared on Thursday. And although the four-day festival has already become a tradition, there is always something new to discover for regular visitors: “For the first time there will be cheese fondue to-go, and the Sausage Brothers are also new,” says Barbara Zmölnig from ip-Media. Also present for the first time are the ladies of the Fohnsdorfer Geigenmusi, who delighted the audience on Thursday.
