Just in time for the start of the popular Alps-Adriatic harbor festival in the eastern bay of Wörthersee, the longingly missed sun appeared on Thursday. And although the four-day festival has already become a tradition, there is always something new to discover for regular visitors: “For the first time there will be cheese fondue to-go, and the Sausage Brothers are also new,” says Barbara Zmölnig from ip-Media. Also present for the first time are the ladies of the Fohnsdorfer Geigenmusi, who delighted the audience on Thursday. Something for everyone! “The harbor festival is the start of the season – there is something for all generations!” Scheider enthusiastic. While the little ones had fun in the play area with face painting, a bouncy castle and the like, mum and dad could try their way through the Alps-Adriatic region around 10,000 visitors learn interesting things about the four-legged friends. One of the highlights was the performance by the band “More than Words” at 6:30 p.m . Before that there was an autograph session for all fans at 4 p.m. directly at the “Krone” stand.
