10th anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death. Lea Michele remembered him in an Instagram post with touching words.

Until his death in July 2013, Lea Michele (36) was in a relationship with her “Glee” colleague Cory Monteith (1982-2013). In an Instagram post, she now remembers the actor. On the tenth anniversary of his death on July 13, she wrote about an old black and white photo: “Ten years. It feels like you were here yesterday, but at the same time a million years have passed. I keep all our memories in my heart where they will remain safe and never forgotten.”

“miss you every day”

Michele continues in her emotional post: “We miss you every day and will never forget the light you brought to us all. I miss you. I hope you found Taylor up there and you play drums together.” Her followers point out in the comments column that Michele could mean Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins (1972-2022), who died in 2022.

Michele and Monteith met on the “Glee” set. In the musical comedy television series (2009-2015) they took on the roles of Rachel Berry and Finn Hudson. Monteith succumbed to a severe drug addiction in 2013 at the age of just 31.

In April 2018, Lea Michele announced her engagement to Zandy Reich. A good year later, on March 9, 2019, she married the businessman. Their son Ever was born on August 20, 2020.
