Terminator: an Open World survival game in preparation

French publisher Nacon announced last night a new game based on the Terminator license. Provisionally called “Terminator Survival Project” and developed internally, it will take place after the events of the famous Last Judgment.

Nakon

French publisher Nacon yesterday announced the development of a new one based on the Terminator franchise, tentatively dubbed Terminator Survival Project. Not only does the game not have a definitive title yet, but it also has no release date. It is supposed to be released on PC and, one imagines, on current home consoles.

Developed internally within the Nacon studio based in Milan and freshly created in May 2022, this new game is therefore not entrusted to the Polish studio Teyon, which had delivered a frankly formidable step Terminator Resistance in 2019, which relied on the first two films of the saga created by James Cameron.

At most we know that Terminator Survival Project will take place after the famous day of the Last Judgment, and before John Connor takes the reins of the resistance against Skynet.

Robocop resumes service

We are still talking about the Teyon studio since the game Robocop Rogue City also revealed itself a little during this Nacon Connect show. Announced in July 2021, these new adventures of heroes 50% man, 50% machine, 100% cop are expected in June 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and on Switch. It’s casually a small event: sApart from a game developed for mobile phones, it’s been 19 years since a game based on the Robocop license has seen the light of day.

The least we can say is that Pop Culture’s most famous cybercop still doesn’t cut corners, and the title doesn’t look so bad!
