TF1: a new member joins the executive committee

(CercleFinance.com) – TF1 announced on Tuesday an appointment to its executive committee, with the recruitment of an investment banker who worked for the Bouygues group.

Pierre-Alain Gérard has been appointed deputy managing director in charge of finance, strategy and purchasing, replacing Philippe Denery, which will lead him to join the executive committee of the television group.

In his new role, this 40-year-old will be responsible in particular for financial performance, financial communication, the management of any merger and acquisition operations and a ‘responsible’ purchasing policy within the framework of the climate contract.

Born in 1981, Pierre-Alain Gérard graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and EM Lyon.

After beginning his career in mergers and acquisitions in London, first at Bank of America then at Morgan Stanley, he joined the Bouygues group, the parent company of TF1, in 2009.

Since 2019, he has held the position of central director of strategies, development and financial control within the French construction giant.
