(CercleFinance.com) – The TF1 Group and the Altice Group announced on Friday evening the signing of agreements relating to the sale of the TFX channel to the Altice Group, the TF1 staff representative bodies having given their opinion and approved the project.
The final completion of this transaction is subject in particular to the authorization of the competent authorities (Competition Authority and Arcom) and to the completion of the merger project between the TF1 Group and the M6 Group.
TF1 recalls having received, at the end of February, a promise to purchase TFX (channel 11 of TNT) from Altice Media and having granted it exclusivity. It will remain fully controlled by the television group throughout 2022.
