TF1: this actress will play the descendant of Sherlock Holmes in a new series

TF1 has just launched the filming of “Mademoiselle Holmes”, a new detective series carried by Lola Dewaere and Tom Villa (“Munch”) in which the star of “Astrid and Raphaëlle” will play a cop descended from Sherlock Holmes.

The actress Lola Dewaere (Astrid and Raphaëlle) is going to be unfaithful to France Télévisions for the time of a new project which seems to fit somewhere between HPI, Sherlock and Enola Holmes.

TF1 has just announced yesterday the start of filming of the Mademoiselle Holmes series, created by Victoria Spennato (Face à face), in collaboration with Laëtitia Kügler, which will revisit the legacy of Sherlock Holmes in detective comedy mode with Lola Dewaere and Tom Villa (Munch) in the main roles.

How can you imagine that Charlie, 36, a discreet and shy cop who still lives with his grandfather (Daniel Prévost), could be the descendant of the famous Sherlock Holmes?! This is the starting point of this new fiction in six episodes directed by Frédéric Berthe (Pour Sarah) and François Ryckelynck (Les Innocents), and produced by Marysol (Newen Studios).

One day, however, Charlie Holmes is hit by a car and suddenly clicks. The tasteless and inhibited Charlie suddenly bursts with energy. For the first time, she crunches life to the fullest. Her extraordinary intelligence and empathy make her a cop as brilliant as she is unpredictable.

By meeting Samy, who will become his Watson, Charlie will finally assume himself as a cop, a woman… and Holmes!

Alongside Lola Dewaere and Tom Villa, who obviously play Charlie and Samy, Daniel Prévost, Thomas Jouannet (Nina, Prometheus) and Alika Del Sol (Sam, Here it all begins) complete the cast of Mademoiselle Holmes, whose filming will take place at London and in the Pays de la Loire region, particularly in Nantes.

More than ever, after the resounding success of HPI, which will soon return for a long-awaited season 3, TF1 therefore seems to be betting on detective fiction tinged with comedy to renew its offer (after the judgments of Balthazar, Alice Nevers or Research Section) .

As evidenced by this new project inspired by Sherlock Holmes, but also Daron with Didier Bourdon, Mercato with Arnaud Ducret and Manon Azem, or Le Négociateur, worn by François-Xavier Demaison.

Lola Dewaere, for her part, is not idle despite the end of the “Crime à…” collection since she recently boxed season 4 of Astrid and Raphaëlle, which will arrive in the weeks or months to come. on France 2, and will be in the credits of the TV movie Le Village des endormis on France 3 on March 21 alongside Aurélien Wiik.
