TF1 will sell its stake in Ykone to Future Tech Retail

(Boursier.com) — TF1 enters into exclusive negotiations for the sale to Future Tech Retail of its 70% stake in the capital of Ykone.

The TF1 group has entered into exclusive negotiations with Future Technology Retail (FTR), a technological solutions investment and distribution company subsidiary of BinDawood Holding, with the aim of selling its shares in Ykone, an international influencer marketing agency .

Created in 2008 and integrated into the TF1 group in 2018, the Ykone agency has developed worldwide to become one of the main players in the sector today. Ykone is now present in 12 countries in Paris, Milan, Geneva, Berlin, Munich, Las Vegas, Miami, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Hong Kong, Bangalore, Tunis and Shanghai. Ykone has also expanded its services by developing a technology offering, Campaygn, buying influencer network Bold Management and launching its production company Oddly Enough. Ykone recently acquired the German agency Cover, after having acquired the Milanese agency Baldi in 2021, thus completing its European presence. Ykone now employs more than 150 people and supports around fifty large groups in the implementation of their social media and influence strategies.

Specialized in luxury, beauty and tourism, Ykone supports major global brands in their influencer marketing operations. The sector is experiencing very strong growth and has benefited from the growth in advertising investments on social networks. Since 2020, the company has doubled its turnover every year.
