It has been since 2019 that Bandai Namco Games talks to us about Blue Protocola Action RPG ambitious online with an anime aesthetic. It was recently confirmed that the project will be launched in the spring of 2023 in Japan on PC, after final phases of testing which will allow the experience to be run in.
Good news, the West will not remain hungry for very long, because the publisher has partnered with Amazon Games for launch the game in the second half of 2023 in Europe and North America. The announcement was made with a trailer to Game Awards 2022 and we learned along the way that editions next gen are also planned for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

As the anime continues to grow in popularity globally, we look forward to bringing Blue Protocol to the West next year.”
Blue Protocol, developed by Bandai Namco Online Inc. and Bandai Namco Studios, offers players a heroic epic in the lands of Regnas, a world on the brink of destruction after millennia of conflict and overuse of technology. Players will have to unite and harness the mysterious light called Engram to defeat powerful enemies. Players will be able to fully customize their character and choose from five unique classes at launch: the sturdy Avenger, the valiant Ambidextrous, the versatile occult Archer, the versatile Mage-Weaver or the heavy-damage Crusher. Aided by the Echoes, mystical creatures with powerful attacks, players will have to unlock their memories and fight to save the world.

Blue Protocol will be the newest title in Amazon Games’ portfolio of high-quality games, which includes Lost Ark and New World, among others. This collaboration follows previously announced publishing deals with leading global developers including Smilegate RPG, Glowmade and Disruptive Games.
Blue Protocol will he manage to establish himself as a must-have MMOs ? We will have the answer a priori at the end of next year!
