Definitely, street fighter 6 will have struggled to keep us from surprises. Having two pass different obviously recalls the Season V of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition (the game is still sold €24.99 on Amazon), but we will have to wait for more details to know exactly what they contain. We should probably be fixed next night during the Game Awards 2022. We will then update this article with the inevitable trailer confirming all this.
Update : Amazon.com has already put the product sheets of the game online, telling us that it will be possible to physically obtain the edition Deluxe and a collector costing $249.99, and that the Year 1 Character Pass will add 4 more fighters.
The new trailer gave pride of place to the fashion World Tour and introduced properly Dee Jay, Maria, Manon and JPthe latter three being unreleased, thus confirming the release date of June 2, 2023.
World Tour mode will take players around the worldfrom sunny beaches in Jamaica to bullrings in Italy, a lively festival in France and other places where their avatars can learn new techniques from the iconic characters of the series. Note that it will be possible for the same avatar to mix special moves from different Masters and perform Hadoken, Sonic Boom, Spinning Bird Kick or Yoga Flame as long as these moves are not assigned to identical controls.
World Tour also introduces the Master Assist feature, which allows players to fight alongside a master like Ryu by bringing him into the fight to help him out for a while. A very useful asset when they encounter more than one opponent. Finally, players will be able to let off steam between two grueling fights by participating in mini-games such as bottle smashing, Italian cooking, basketball parade and many more Again. Minigames can be completed between matches in the form of part-time jobs through which players can earn World Tour currency to purchase clothing, food, and other in-game items.

- DEE-JAY – First appearing in Super Street Fighter II, Dee Jay is a dance music superstar. He retains his rhythm-packed special moves like Air Slasher, Double Rolling Sobat, Machine Gun Upper, and Jackknife Maximum, while adding new moves like Just Cool and Weekend Pleasure to his arsenal. Players can visit Bathers Beach, the setting of Dee Jay in Street Fighter 6, to experience a very musical seaside party as the sun sets.
- MANON – Top model and world judo champion, the beautiful Manon parades on the catwalks of street fights with the aim of becoming the strongest model in the world. His movements are a graceful and surprising mix between judo and classical ballet, with special moves like the Manège Doré, the Reversé, the Pas de Deux, and other tricks to unsettle his opponents. Players will find her in a carnival setting in France.
- MARISA – An up-and-coming Italian jewelry designer, Marissa claims ancestry among ancient Greek warriors. Blessed with a strong character, she uses her long limbs to unleash slow, yet gargantuan blows like the devastating Gladius, the defensive counter Scutum, the powerful kick Quadriga, and the almighty Goddess of the Hunt. Marisa will savor her knockout victories in her home setting, Colosseo, cheered on by ancient warriors always ready for battle.
- JP – As the head of Nayshall, a successful non-governmental organization, JP is responsible for many successful investments. Her beloved cat is called Cybele. JP is perfectly armed to take control of the fight from every angle with moves such as the powerful Departure which creates vacuum, the Torbalan which deploys clones, the embrace Embrace and the destructive Interdiction.
In addition to the various editions already presented, the famous collector mentioned is finally called Mad Gear Box and will offer a lot of content for fans. Only GameStop proposing it, we will have to see if Micromania will be entitled to it in France.
