(CercleFinance.com) – Thales Alenia Space – a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%) – today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with SpeQtral, a specialist in quantum communication technologies by satellite, involving the research, development and demonstration of quantum communications from space to Earth.

The agreement signed between the two partners provides for the establishment of joint experiments by 2025 between the quantum satellite SpeQtral-1 under development and an ultra-
