Thales: contract for radars in Indonesia

(CercleFinance.com) – As the Bourget air show opens, Thales announces the order by the Indonesian group PT Len Industri of 13 Ground Master (GM) 400 Alpha long-range surveillance radars, with the command system and associated SkyView control.

According to the French group, the airspace protection system installed on the Indonesian archipelago will allow the country’s armed forces to establish an accurate picture of the air situation, and thus allow early detection of all types of threats.

Thales will produce the radars and the command and control system, with PT Len being in charge of building the radar stations, supplying the installations and ensuring the integration of the systems, as well as managing the civil works of the programme.
