Thales signs £1.8 billion contract with Royal Navy


(AOF) – Thales has won a £1.8 billion contract to maximize the availability and operational capability of the Royal Navy. This is a 15-year contract. The French group specifies that the support and assistance team will focus its attention on the availability of equipment by means, in particular, of artificial intelligence and data. This will make it possible to anticipate incidents before they happen. The capabilities implemented will reduce repair times by an average of 100 days.

The procurement time for replacement parts will be reduced by an average of 44 days and on average 10% more reliable.
