The 13th season of Dance with the stars is highly anticipated! And for good reason, the cult show was initially scheduled to return in the fall, as tradition dictates. But she had to give up her place at the Rugby World Cup. Then, TF1 finally decided to broadcast the new season of The Star Academy before Christmas. No luck, so for fans of DALS who will still have to wait. But good news, the show will be back on TF1 at the beginning of 2024. Phew! Because it was not yet won. Indeed, audiences are in free fall.
But if TF1 chose to give another chance to Dance with the stars, the show will still undergo some changes. The first notable is that it will no longer be composed of 10 primes but only 8. The broadcast being therefore shortened, fewer candidates should participate. As a reminder, usually 12 candidates compete against each other to try to win the final victory. Previous winners being Billy Crawford, Tayc, Sami El Gueddari, Clément Rémiens, Augustin Galiana, Laurent Maistret, Loïc Nottet, Rayane Bensetti. Dance with the stars : the show probably airs on Tuesdays
According to the magazine Audience, TF1 would have chosen to shorten the show for two reasons. First of all to successfully place all the programs, namely The Voice, The Voice Kids, Dream Team, Ninja Warrior, Star Academy, Koh-Lanta And Mask Singer. But also because audiences have fallen, now only attracting 2.6 million viewers, or 14.3% of the public. And now the show could air on Tuesdays.
Indeed, Chris Marques and his wife Jaclyn Spencer will be on tour with Then we dance everywhere in France, therefore Fridays and Saturdays. For the famous juror to be able to participate, the show will have to be broadcast Tuesday. And always according to Audience, Fauve Hautot and Bilal Hassani will not participate in this 13th season.
