It will be 296 million euros in 2022, including 263 million for the delivery company of Olympic works (against 225 million in 2021), 25 million for the organizing committee of the Olympic Games for the Paralympic component, and 8 million in particular for the laboratory of the French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD).
“8 million euros reserved for high performance”
For its part, the National Sports Agency (ANS) will receive 315 million euros, against 305 million euros in 2021 (excluding the recovery plan). “There will be 8 million euros reserved for high performance”, said the sports ministry on Wednesday at a press point. While France had disappointing results at the Tokyo Olympics, the ministry has strong ambitions for those in Paris: to integrate the world top 5, which means a doubling of medals. The National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (Insep) will receive 3.9 million euros, notably for maintenance and renovations.
The ministry also ensured a “Workforce stability” while sports players scrapped for months to ensure that shrinking technical and sports advisers (CTS) positions were recovered. The ministry finally clarified that the shortfall in the tax on rights related to television broadcasts (Buffet tax), linked to the Mediapro scandal, was currently assessed at “15 million euros”. The government has made a commitment to compensate for it.
