The Christmas holidays are fast approaching: the time has come to decorate the tree, wrap the gifts, prepare the log and… bring out the good old end-of-year classics to (re)discover or to share while waiting for December 25.
When it comes to choosing a film to watch with family or friends before Christmas, some prefer to laugh while watching the Float Breakers get caught in the traps set by Kevin McCallister in Mom, I Missed the Plane. Others are more in the mood to shiver in front of Richard Donner’s joyful Gremlins or to treat themselves to a little adrenaline rush with John McTiernan’s Crystal Trap. Still others are fans of the great classics, and choose to marvel once again at Life is Beautiful by Frank Capra or White Christmas by Michael Curtiz.
