the 6 price increases above inflation that await you in 2024

Almost all of the local Crdit Agricole banks have published their prices for 2024. The result is around twenty increases (on bank cards, checks, etc.), some of which will exceed inflation.

Go back a year. In the fall of 2022, the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, is pleased to have obtained from French banks the promise of not increase their prices by more than 2% in 2023. In the crowd, some even announced a freeze in their prices. Not Crédit Agricole, which stands out for its discretion during this sequence. The mutual bank is content to contain its increases below the threshold promised to public authorities, without being more zealous.

What will it be in 2024? We now know the prices that most local Crdit Agricole banks will display on January 1, 2024. The price of many products and services will increase: more than 20, among the tariff lines monitored by MoneyVox. With a few exceptions, these increases will be quite significantly below inflation, expected by INSEE to be 5% in 2023. There are, however, a few exceptions.

Some increases that exceed inflation

A reminder to start: each local Crdit Agricole bank is responsible for its pricing policy. Price changes are therefore not uniform everywhere. The increases present here are average prices expected on January 1, 2024, calculated after analysis of all the price scales. If you are a customer of the mutual bank, you may not be affected by all of these increases. To be sure, refer to your fund’s brochure.

Here, in descending order, are the tariff lines that will increase more than inflation.
