A reputable insider in the Rockstar Games community recently reiterated their claims that GTA 6 will finally be revealed this year.
When Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in 2013, few fans expected to have to wait nearly a decade for Rockstar Games to release the next installment.
And while the developers of this iconic game are still mum about GTA 6, there have been plenty of rumors and leaks about the game, including locations, characters, and even how the story will unfold.
Throughout 2021 and since even early 2022, some leakers and insiders have said they don’t expect to see GTA 6 on shelves until 2024, although others believe otherwise.
There have been a lot of rumors about GTA 6, but nothing official yet.
And among people who think differently, we can find the reliable insider, TezFun, who said before that GTA 6 will be announced in 2022 and in the hands of gamers in the year after.
In order to support his remarks, TezFun recently left an announcing message on GTA Forums which made many fans react.
“Can’t wait for the announcement this year” (I can’t wait for the announcement to be made this year), leaving many players excited that their long wait may soon be over.

And even though this insider followed up with the message “Source: Trust me bro,” which might hint at a troll on his part, Tez has always been right when it comes to Rockstar info, so we like to believe that a GTA 6 announcement will really see the light of day this year.
However, as always with GTA 6, it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt until we have official news from Rockstar or Take-Two.
