the announcement that everyone is waiting for is confirmed

Until now remaining hidden in the shadows, Assassin’s Creed Red should hit hard very soon. Ubisoft intends to pull out all the stops on this highly anticipated opus.

Edit: Ubisoft has just given official news about Assassin’s Creed Red and will see you very soon.

First announced at Ubisoft Forward 2022, Assassin’s Creed Red should make a very notable appearance at this year’s. It will certainly be one of the centerpieces of the French giant’s conference. Here’s everything you’d expect to see there.

Assassin’s Creed Red will draw its Tanto blade

For many fans of the license, the idea that Assassin’s Creed Red takes place in feudal Japan is already attractive. The Land of the Rising Sun indeed seems to be a destination of choice for exploring its history at the command of an assassin. In addition to offering for the first time to visit Japan, Ubisoft’s next game should also stand out from other titles on this point. We will indeed be able to embody two characters: Yasuke, a Samurai/Ronin who truly existed, and Naoe, a Kunoichi (the female counterpart of the Shinobis). Like Ghost of Tsushima, we will therefore be able to alternate between more in-depth gameplay and gameplay focused on discretion.

On this subject, the Ubisoft Forward scheduled for June 10 will be an opportunity to finally see the gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Red in action. We will thus be able to see how the two protagonists interact, in an open world RPG with a strong focus on exploration. Ubisoft’s highly anticipated title should also incorporate base-building mechanics. This should also be part of the upcoming presentation.

What else can you expect from Ubisoft Forward?

In addition to a long and exhaustive gameplay sequence, fans are certainly waiting to know the release date of Assassin’s Creed Red. Since its development is almost complete, it should also be revealed during Ubisoft Forward. For now, we only have a fairly close window: between October and November 2024. The French giant’s conference will therefore be an opportunity to clarify this. Many Assassin’s Creed games are currently in the works. So we might also learn more about them. We are thinking in particular of the intriguing Hexe, expected in 2026.

It should also not be the only flagship Ubisoft franchise to put on a show on June 10. Star Wars Outlaws will also be a big part of the presentation. Many signals also suggest that a certain Splinter Cell Remake will take the opportunity to finally emerge from the shadows. With such a potential program, the French giant’s conference is therefore expected around the corner. See you in a few months to see what it really is.
