From January 26, Dominik Stuckmann will go in search of love as “Bachelor”. These couples found each other thanks to the show.

The dome show “The Bachelor” goes into a new round on January 26th. Every Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. Dominik Stuckmann (29) is looking for RTL (or via RTL+) among 22 single women the great love. His direct predecessor Niko Griesert (31) found happiness last year – but with the runner-up on the show. Ex-Bachelor Andrej Mangold (35) also found what he was looking for in 2019. He was happy with his chosen one, Jennifer Lange (28), for almost two years until they separated in November 2020. The German “Bachelor” universe has also produced other couples.

Final show and then happy ending?

Couples who emerge together from the finale of “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette” are often smiled at. Because many relationships survived in the history of the show not long after shooting ended. In recent seasons, however, some couples have also proven the opposite. For a long time, Andrej Mangold and Jennifer Lange were examples of a happy relationship after “Bachelor” times.

In the case of the female counterpart “The Bachelorette”, Anna Hofbauer (33), the bachelor from 2014, and her chosen one, Marvin Albrecht (33), have long been considered an absolute dream couple. However, the relationship ended in 2017. Ex-“Bachelorette” Melissa Damilia (26) and Leander Sacher (24) also show that you can find lasting love on the show. The couple got together on the show in 2020 and have been in a relationship ever since. In November 2021, the TV asterisks admitted that there were problems in their relationship, but that they wanted to work on them. However, rumors of a relationship ending persist.

Second place can also ensure happiness in love

Stuckmann’s “Bachelor” predecessor Niko Griesert also found love on the show – but previously drew attention to himself with his indecisiveness. During the season he was torn between Mimi Gwozdz (27) and Michèle de Roos (28). Although he decided in favor of Mimi in the final, he met Michèle a short time later. The couple have been happily together for over a year and have already moved in together.

Jessica Paszka (31) and Johannes Haller (34) also prove that the last rose does not have to be decisive for a happy ending. In 2017, the then “Bachelorette” decided in the final against Haller and for his competitor David Friedrich (32). The relationship only lasted a few months. Haller, on the other hand, found ex-“Bachelor” candidate Yeliz Koc (28) through “Bachelor in Paradise” a year after the show. They had an on-off relationship until early 2020. In the summer of the same year, Paszka and Haller became close again. They are now married and have a daughter together.

Falling in love again in the “Bachelor” universe

“Bachelor” Sebastian Pannek (35) gave his last rose to Clea-Lacy Juhn (30) in 2017, her love broke up after about a year and a half. But Pannek has now found happiness with another lady from the “Bachelor” universe. In 2020 he married Angelina Pannek (29), former gamekeeper. She was in the final with Christian Tews (41) in 2014, but went away empty-handed. In 2016 she was briefly in a relationship with Leonard Freier (36), “The Bachelor” 2016. It has now worked out with the third Rosenkavalier. The Panneks became parents in the summer of 2020, and the first “Bachelor” baby saw the light of day.

Nik Schröder (32), third place winner of the “Bachelorette” season 2017, had a similar experience. Since 2018, the woman at his side has been Jessi Cooper (27), known from the “Bachelor” season with Daniel Völz (36). Schröder and Cooper married in September 2019 and are now parents of a daughter together.

New happiness in paradise?

Anyone who is still single after participating in “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette” does not need to despair. RTL has been offering ex-candidates a second chance on “Bachelor in Paradise” since 2018. And sometimes with great success.

Marco Cerullo (33), for example, wanted to conquer Jessica Paszka’s heart in 2017, but finally found his dream woman in the offshoot show in 2019. He fell in love with Christina Grass (33), who competed for Andrej Mangold’s roses in 2019. The couple got engaged in early 2020, announced their separation in the same year and then surprised with a love comeback in mid-January 2021.

For Serkan Yavuz (28), the rule “All good things come in threes” probably applied. In 2019 he first vied for the favor of “Bachelorette” Gerda Lewis (29), but failed. In the same year he met and loved Carina Spack (25) on “Bachelor in Paradise”. She was previously a candidate for “Bachelor” Daniel Völz. The relationship lasted until autumn 2020. In 2021, the Regensburger tried it a second time in paradise and met Samira Klampfl (28) there, who, like Spack, once courted Daniel Völz. There were sparks between Yavuz and Klampfl and they left the show as a couple. That’s not all: they are currently expecting a child together and have already moved in together.

Karina Wagner (25) and Gustav Masurek (32) also found each other on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2021. Wagner had previously fought for Niko Griesert in 2021, Masurek for the heart of “Bachelorette” Maxime Herbord (27). The “Bachelor in Paradise” couples Evelyn Burdecki (33, “The Bachelor” 2017) and Domenico de Cicco (38, “The Bachelorette” 2017) and Pamela Gil Mata (31, “The Bachelor” 2015) and Philipp were less fortunate Stehler (33, “The Bachelorette” 2015). Their love wasn’t meant to last forever.

“Prince Charming” is now involved

In 2019, the TV dome exchange was expanded to include a new format: “Prince Charming” is now involved. Nicolas Puschmann (30) started as the first homosexual dream prince in the German TV landscape – and found what he was looking for. He fell in love with podcaster Lars Tönsfeuerborn (32) and presented him with the last tie. About a year later, the couple announced their separation in November 2020. A love revival in January 2021 fell through in September of the same year. The relationship between “Prince Charming” successor Alexander Schäfer (31) and his chosen one, Lauritz Hofmann (29), did not even last beyond the final. The third “Prince” Kim Tränka (31) was luckier: he has been happy with winner Maurice Schmitz (22) since the show’s finale in autumn 2021.

In December 2019, however, this message caused what was probably the biggest surprise in the universe of dome shows: Sam Dylan (30), “Prince Charming” candidate 2019, and Rafi Rachek (32), “The Bachelorette” candidate 2018, are in a relationship. A year earlier, Rachek wanted to win the heart of Nadine Klein, and in 2019 he finally came out as homosexual on the offshoot “Bachelor in Paradise”. The couple separated in the meantime in 2021, but have since found each other again.
