In episode two, the bachelorette remains true to her principles: she is not looking for a surrogate father for her son, but a man for herself.

Jennifer Saro (27) doesn’t do things by halves: “Bachelorette” (Wednesdays, 8:15 p.m., RTL and in advance) remains open in episode two RTL +) true to their principles. The awarding of the roses ends in a big surprise.

When the boys move into their villa, things are initially solemn: three monks bless each individual with a splash of holy water. Alone with Baro (25) from Cologne, the “blessing” of the monks takes place through gentle blows with a broomstick. Not so undeserved, as it will turn out later.

Who has a good chance?

The boys quickly start talking shop about what type of man Jung-Mum Jennifer might like. Julian (38) and David (25), both of a more mature type, have good chances. David, in turn, describes Mike (27) as his top favourite. But all enthusiasm for “the bachelorette” in honor: The refrigerator in the men’s villa, filled as if by magic – everything is there – from bread to tuna salad – evokes the first real feelings of happiness in some. O-Ton Kaan (26): “crazy!”

Cleaning mania outing and the first flirt

Then Jennifer asks for the first group date to a night market in Phuket. Culinary challenges of Thai cuisine await Jennifer’s Romeos there. Casual looks-tennis, serious conversations and first flirting attacks alternate.

After a round of grilled locusts for everyone, Adrian (27) tries his luck with flirting in a one-on-one conversation – with success. Adrian’s conclusion: “What teases, loves”. And Jennifer also finds the small talk with Adrian flirty. Then it’s Fynn’s (25) turn: In front of Jennifer he comes out as “vain” and admits to his “cleaning mania”. Jennifer finds Fynn interesting as a type of man. Julian, on the other hand, cannot score at all with his hint with the fence post that he had already taken care of a child in a previous relationship.

The evening after the group date, Jennifer meets Jesaia (27) for a relaxed one-on-one date at a spa. She enjoys his calm, confident charisma and calls the date “flirty” and “very romantic”. Nevertheless, Isaiah leaves a “giant question mark” with her. He is still studying and lives in a flat share. How does that fit into your life?

The boys are sweating

The next day, Jennifer makes not just one, but all the boys sweat. In a fitness outfit, she shows up for a spontaneous visit to the men’s villa and asks them to work out. It is not only because of the joint push-ups that some applicants gasp.

The rest of the home visit of the “Bachelorette” is between Bro and contra. When Baro’s roommate Yannick (30) rudely interrupts his conversation with Jennifer and praises Gianluca (27) in a rather embarrassing way, adrenaline is in the air. The following verbal exchange of blows between Baro and Kaan in the pool belongs to Mike in the “lowest level” drawer. His verdict on Baro: “That wouldn’t be for Jenny.”

Alex (27) gets hold of the second single date. He and Jennifer meet above the roofs of Phuket – first for slacklining, then for fine dining. When dancing on the thin slacklines, both prove that they can let themselves fall. At dinner with a magical view, Alex is noticeably nervous. He admits to Jennifer that he rarely drinks alcohol because it makes him “so cuddly”. Jennifer amuses Alex’s manner and she presents him with a rose.

At the mansion, Alex gets applause from his competitors for his rose. Most of the other boys are no competition for group senior Julian (38) because they are too immature. His assessment: all children. Half is out. Is he right about that?

A new candidate for the “Bachelorette”

Before the second rose ceremony, Jennifer meets Kinan (26), a new candidate. The native Syrian introduces himself with a serenade on the guitar. The otherwise tough Oguzhan strengthens his reputation as a “lucky bag” with a souvenir brand “Puschelrosenteddy”. Kaan practices touching bromance when he asks Jennifer to talk and asks her unselfishly whether André can accompany them both. Finally he leaves the field to the shy André.

At the end of the evening, single dater Jesaia accepts the first rose, Troublemaker Baro the last. Jenny is not only sending home two supposed top favorites with Julian and Mike. It is precisely the two who have to pack their bags who have already had experience with children in previous relationships.

Jennifer remains true to herself: she is not looking for a substitute father, but a man for herself. And with this strong message we start the next flirt week.
