“The Bachelors” takes off two times in a row – including the first individual dates, a first group flirt and the first favorites.

The start of “The Bachelors” started last week unconventionally, appropriate to the new format with a double bachelor. That’s why the candidates don’t reach their villa until episode 2 (Wednesday at 8:15 p.m., also on RTL+). A group of 6 people called “Mice Gang” immediately secure a shared room.

As soon as they arrived, the first adventures awaited two women. In Episode 1, the Bachelors awarded a yellow rose, which was for the first Single date qualified. Sebastian, 35, chose bridal stylist Leonie, 28, Dennis, 30, content creator Rebecca, 27.

“No Dennis can do that better”

Dennis and Rebecca take off on a sightseeing flight over Cape Town. The limited space on the plane alone ensures intimacy. For some unknown reason, Rebecca gives Dennis the keyword Dubai. He then talks about his vacation there with his grandfather after he overcame cancer at the age of 80. In the conversation after the flight, Dennis tears up. Which goes down really well with Rebecca.

For Sebastian and Leonie it’s off to the water. On a catamaran, the cool wind alone makes you want to cuddle. “He picks you up,” enthuses the Cologne native about the Bachelor. He later admits that he tuned his ears because of their appearance. “No Dennis can do that better,” Leonie sums up on land. The Bachelor competition always seems to be in the back of your mind.

Back in the villa, Leonie acts patronizing. She asks her competitor to come to her if she has any problems. But that doesn’t make her any friends. She especially clashes with Lisa, 29, from Team Dennis.

By the way, a kiss didn’t happen on any single date, even though it was in the air for both couples. The Bachelors agree that it would be too early.

Flirt safari: Bachelors choose their Big Four

After the individual dates comes the first pack flirtation. We go on safari to look for the Big Five (elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, lion, rhinoceros). Beforehand, Dennis and Sebastian select their Big Four candidates from among their candidates and help each other with their selection.

Together, but in separate cars, each with a bachelor and four women, they set off through the South African hinterland. However, hippos and zebras only show their backsides, which leads Dennis to question his ladies about the importance of firm butts in men.

“Stick in the ass”? Larissa tests Sebastian

Two women each get to enjoy a one-on-one date. Dennis gets close to Nadia, 26. Quite literally, because because of the cold she has to put a cloth around her shoulders.

Larissa, 30, wants to find out in a one-on-one conversation whether Sebastian really has a “stick up his ass,” as she feared. But the Hamburger convinces with humor – and the “spicy” (Larissa) revelation that he was already engaged once.

At the cocktail party, Sebastian and Larissa put their heads together again. The insurance saleswoman seems to have overtaken Leonie as the early favorite.

First Night of Roses: Sebastian secures renegade Laura

Dennis has not yet clearly identified a favorite. Sebastian’s chosen one, Laura S., 23, announces that she is switching sides after flirting with Dennis. The Bavarian also dances with Sebastian’s Leonie, which the Hanseatic citizen notices with a slight sniff.

On the first night of the roses, Laura S. gets a flower from Sebastian – even though she was expecting a rose from Dennis. Whatever Sebastian rubs in his nose.

Two women per bachelor are left behind. Laura D., 28, who couldn’t score points on the safari, gets hit by Sebastian. Dennis spurns Bianca, 23, who admits that it was “not a match”.
