It goes on: The shooting of "The Batman" with Robert Pattinson (34, "Twilight") in the lead role is to be resumed in early September. This is reported by the US trade journal "Variety", citing an insider. The film is to be shot at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden outside London.

The comic book adaptation staged by director Matt Reeves (54) had already been filmed for seven weeks at the beginning of the year when work had to be stopped in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is estimated that the cast and crew have three more months of work to go.
