The Batman: is there a post-credits scene?

The Batman is in theaters from March 2, 2022. Should we stay until the end of the credits for a bonus scene?

Batman is one of the favorite characters in the DC Comics universe. Matt Reeves’ film, in theaters this March 2, 2022, was therefore expected at the turn. This new feature film delivers a renewed cinematic interpretation of the darker and more brutal Batman in the guise of Robert Pattinson.

Built like a thriller, but above all aesthetic, The Batman is breathtaking. One of the qualities of the film is also its independence: it does not belong to the DC Extended Universe in cinemas and the three hours are enough on their own. However, a sequel seems likely. But is there a post-credits scene, like most comic book movies these days?

There is only one easter egg

The answer is clear: there is no post-credits scene in The Batmanwhether after the main credits or at the very end.

On the other hand, there is a small easter egg. You will see a computer console appear, a question mark (in reference to the Riddler, the great villain of the film), then “Good Bye”, followed by a web address. This address simply links to the rataalada site — which plays an important role in the film and was recreated in real life by Warner for the promo.

So it’s just a small nod that doesn’t deliver any new scenes or clues to a possible sequel. This is not necessarily a defect, the absence of a post-credits scene contributes to a complete work in itself.
