Announced on PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One, the title will be based on the confrontation of 8 trios, which you will agree brings the number of players on the same field to 24. The objective remains the same: to finish Top 1 while avoiding being swept away by enemies as well as by the increasingly restricted playing area as each cycle progresses. 12 playable characters from the original work are already announced, namely Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, All Might, Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui, Cementoss, Mt. Lady, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko Toga , and Mr. Compress.
Assault, support, distraction: each character corresponds to an archetype that must be taken into account when composing its team. In addition, the skill cards scattered around the battle arena will allow you to improve your skills, and unlock techniques as you fight. The key to victory is stealing other people’s skill cards to strengthen your own team. Your troop of heroes will also have to make sure to save the last civilians who have not managed to escape, again to benefit from bonuses for the whole team.
While waiting to learn more about a possible localization, Bandai Namco plans to organize a first beta phase in Japan. This will be launched from February 2 to 6 in the land of the Rising Sun, with a registration campaign which will close its doors on January 28, at 6 p.m. local time (9 a.m. in France). No commissioning date has been announced for this free-to-play, which will no doubt rely on permanently unlocking characters and cosmetics as a business model.
