In an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, Paul McCartney said John Lennon’s vocals were taken from an old demo and used to complete a song that had yet to be completed, using the AI.
The Beatles are considered the most influential band of all time, but when John Lennon left the band before his tragic death in 1980, the fans remained on their hunger. Fortunately, thanks to artificial intelligence, it looks like the British rock band aren’t done with music yet.
Sir Paul McCartney told BBC Radio 4’s Today program that there would be a final Beatles track with a John Lennon vocal taken from a demo using artificial intelligence. The song would already be ready, and it will be unveiled later in 2023.

Artificial intelligence enabled the creation of one last song
” When we started recording what will be the last Beatles record, we worked on a demo by John McCartney told presenter Martha Kearney. ” We were able to take John’s voice and make it pure with this AI so that we could mix the album like you normally would. This gives you some leeway. So there’s a positive side and a scary side, and we’ll see where that takes us. “.
The song in question is said to be “Now And Then,” a sad love song about personal regrets. The Beatles attempted to record this song during the Anthology sessions, but George Harrison was apparently unhappy with the sessions. Speaking to Q Magazine, Sir Paul McCartney then revealed that the guitarist said the song was ” nothing and that he didn’t want to work on it.
