Convincing value for money, satisfactory performance

The value for money of the Beelink EQ12 N100 is excellent, and this is what motivates us to include it in our comparison. It is available at a price of €329, which is very competitive for a mini-PC of this quality.

For this price, the Beelink EQ12 N100 offers an Intel Alder Lake N100 processor, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. These components allow you to perform many everyday tasks, such as office automation, Internet browsing, video streaming, photo editing and simple content creation.

The Beelink EQ12 N100 is also capable of handling up to four monitors, making it a great choice for users who want to create a home office or home theater setup.

What is the Beelink model worth compared to other mini-PCs of the same price?

Beelink is not alone in the niche of attractive mid-range quality-price ratios. The EQ12 N100 shares many similarities with the GEEKOM Mini Air 12, starting with the 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processor. It is also efficient and compact. However, its storage is more limited (256 GB compared to 512 GB) and it supports 3 screens maximum, compared to 4 for the Beelink model. Note, however, that the latter model is around fifty euros more expensive.

An interesting alternative with a reduced price difference (around twenty euros) is the Maxtang MTN-ALN50. For barely more money, you can swap the Alder Lake N100 for an i3-N305, which doubles the cores and threads and displays a higher turbo frequency (3.80 GHz in 1-core and 3.20 GHz in multi-core , compared to 3.40 GHz and 3.00 GHz respectively with the Alder Lake architecture). The graphics part is also more convincing, although this is a criticism that can be leveled at the Beelink mini-PC.
