Stiftung Warentest tested 7 battery wipers, including a battery-powered vacuum wiper. In addition to wiping performance, the test criteria also include handling and environmental properties such as volume and energy consumption.
In the test, no device was able to secure the top rating of “very good”. Two battery wipers perform “well”, but are very expensive at just under 400 and 1,000 euros respectively. Four other wipers still cut off “satisfactorily”. The cordless vacuum wiper in the test is not convincing. The branded product for just under 400 euros fails with the “poor” rating.
