The HP OfficeJet Pro 9012e is our test winner among the multifunction printers. We tested this in March 2022. Despite the low price, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9012e proves to be an excellent inkjet printer in our test and receives an overall rating of 1.3. The device convinces with high-quality text and photo printing and creates particularly high-quality copies. On top of that, it works pleasantly fast (17 text pages per minute).
The printer’s only weak point – but that’s complaining at a high level: The graphics print could be a little better.
Note: We did not test the test winner of Stiftung Warentest, the Canon Maxify GX7050, which is why no comparison can be made here. However, Stiftung Warentest had already tested the HP model (issue 03/2022). Unlike CHIP, the test-winning model from HP did a little worse there. The different results shouldn’t come as a surprise: Each test has a different focus and rates subjective impressions such as handling differently.
