Summer is coming and many want to book their next holiday now. There are numerous portals that will support you online or via app when making your next booking. It is not that easy to find out which provider actually delivers the best offers.
That’s why our experts from the test center tested a total of 17 travel portals. The three criteria for the evaluation are: selection, operation and service. Many can convince, none is perfect
In our test, 9 out of 17 providers were able to secure the rating “good”. However, none of the travel portals achieved the top rating of “very good”. Many offer top services or a diverse range in the individual categories. But there is no one perfect portal that combines all amenities.
In the end, you have to decide for yourself what is important to you when booking a holiday via the portal: A huge selection, a simple search and use of the portal or service that the provider also provides.
Our test winner Booking.com delivers the best all-round package. In the category Operation of the website has fti with the top mark of 1.0 and ends up in 2nd place in the overall ranking. The top mark in terms of selection secures our 3rd place Opodo. The well-known provider is in the individual category Service TUI. Despite excellent service, the portal only ranked 12th in the overall ranking.
