The big Sat.1 celebrity boxes: These stars are participating

In September, German celebrities will step into the ring again: Matthias Mangiapane, among others, competes in the "Sat.1 Promiboxen".

German celebrities will soon clarify their differences in the ring – and in front of the cameras. In two editions on September 18 and 25, each time at 8:15 pm, a total of 16 well-known personalities put on their boxing gloves in "Das große Sat.1 Promiboxen". The station announced on Tuesday. Some of the upcoming matches are already standing.

Eight celebrities meet on each of the two evenings. On September 18, the reality stars Matthias Mangiapane (36) and Julian F. M. Stoeckel (33) will fight. In addition, the "Bachelor in Paradise" candidates Jade Übach and Carina Spack (24) enter the ring on the same evening. Also to be seen: Marcellino Kremers and Stephan Jerkel, who currently want to compete in the RTLzwei show "Kampf der Realitystars". On September 25th, DJane Giulia Siegel (45) and Helena Fürst (46) will compete, both of whom were seen in the "Summer House of Stars" in 2017. The participants in the further fights are not yet known.

Rules and restrictions

The women will box against each other in up to four one-and-a-half-minute rounds, while the men will box up to five two-minute rounds. The live shows should take place in compliance with the current coronavirus regulations – both for the athletes and in the spectator area.

In the past, numerous German celebrities have entered the ring in different box formats on ProSieben, RTL and Sat.1. There were already musicians and extreme athletes Joey Kelly (47), presenter Mola Adebisi (47), singer Melanie Müller (32) and her colleague Lucas Cordalis (53). In the first German celebrity boxing, Stefan Raab (53) competed against Regina Halmich (43) in 2001, who was the boxing world champion at the time.
