the Blues again on the second step of the podium in relay

Bis repetita. A week after taking the second step of the podium in Ostersund (Sweden), the French men’s biathlon team again secured second place in the relay event on Sunday in Hochfilzen (Austria).

And it is again behind the Norwegians, reigning world champions in the specialty, that Fabien Claude, Simon Desthieux, Emilien Jacquelin and Quentin Fillon-Maillet completed this race, of four times 7.5 kilometers, with two series of shots (lying and standing) by torchbearer.

Sturla Laegreid, Tarjei Boe, Johannes Boe and Vetle Christiansen made the difference during the shooting sessions, where they made fewer mistakes than the French. The Blues were still able to count on Quentin Fillon-Maillet, winner of the pursuit on Saturday and impeccable with the rifle (10/10).
