The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales travels through stories

Lacking inspiration, a writer discovers the ability to travel from book to book and retrieve objects from them. Here’s what to expect in The Bookwalker: Thief of Talesavailable from June 22 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series.

Novelist once in the limelight, Étienne Quist suffers from the syndrome of the blank page. An evil that gnaws at him, and pushes him to join forces with a mysterious benefactor who offers him the power to dive into stories. In search of legendary objects, he also hopes to find new inspirations there for his next novel. An adventure that will take him to different times, in different places, facing different characters.

Turn-based adventure and tactics game, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales constantly oscillates between fact and fiction. Sometimes a 3D game, sometimes in 2D, DO MY BEST mixes experiences to immerse the players in its story. Or in this specific case, his revisited stories. And between two fights, a few puzzles will intervene so that resourcefulness alone may not be enough.

On the occasion of the Summer Game Fest, the game offers a demo to try out in the early hours. A good way to be tempted, and see if the experience is worth it before its release.
