The Boys: Big surprise – this deceased hero will return in Season 4

The finale of “The Boys” flickered across the Amazon Prime screens. Of course there were some deaths at the end of season 3 of the brilliant superhero parody – for which Homelander is responsible. The death of Black Noir is particularly shocking for fans.

Homelander not only rips out the intestines of his basically most loyal ally in the most brutal way and thus kills him. The Black Noir death is made particularly tragic by the fact that viewers had actually only just met him.

That might sound odd for a character who’s been around since the first episode of Season 1. But in episode 7 of Season 3, “The Boys” fans finally learned the extremely tragic history of the previously so mysterious and mysterious hero in a funny, “Wrong game with Roger Rabbit”-like flashback.

And then sudden death.

Good news for “The Boys” fans: Black Noir will return – with a twist

But “The Boys” showrunner Eric Kripke revealed in an interview with Deadline, that the hero will return. When asked by the magazine whether or not Noir is really dead, the series creator replied: “Here’s what I’m going to say, without spoiling anything, which is that this particular individual that is Black Noir is dead. His organs are strewn all over the floor…”

But then comes the key statement. Kripke elaborates: “But if you have a completely mute, completely masked hero, it’s reasonably easy to fill again.”

Thus, the future of the character Black Noir in the 4th season of “The Boys” becomes a lot clearer. The evil Vought corporation will – as so often in the history of the show – sweep the true events under the rug.

The hero Black Noir, member of the seven, is simply recast. Homelander’s shocking murder of his teammate is covered up. The only thing viewers of “The Boys” will have to do without in the future and in season 4 of the series is the tragic character Black Noir, who once knocked out half of Soldier Boy’s brain.
