The Boys (Prime Video): season 4 offers a bloody and chaotic first trailer

A few weeks after the end of its spin-off Gen Vseries The Boys revealed this weekend the first trailer for its highly anticipated season 4, coming to the Amazon Prime Video platform.

These new images confirm that this season 4 will take place in the middle of the election period, to accompany the (real) one planned in the United States. A tense climate that will pit pro and anti-superheroes against each other, while Victoria Neuman is in the running to become vice-president of the United States.

If the plot is still shrouded in mystery, we know that it will take place one month after the events of the finale of Gen Vand that the anti-super virus presented in the spin-off will play an important role in this season 4.

In addition to the return of Butcher (Karl Urban), Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and a Homelander (Antony Starr) bloodier than ever, this trailer reveals new characters, like this superheroine with creatures bursting from her mouth , or the actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan (supernatural, The Walking Dead) in an as yet unknown role.

Consisting of eight episodes, season 4 of The Boys will be released in 2024 on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform, and its events will lead to the second season of Gen V. Another spin-off set in Mexico has also been confirmed by Amazon.
